Andrew Sharp

I'm an engineer on the AI team at Circle. Previously I:

• Founded the Workers KV team at Cloudflare.
• Started my career as a Forward Deployed Engineer on an anti-money laundering deployment at Palantir.
• Graduated from the University of Texas at Austin's 5-year BS/MS program in Computer Science.

In the first years of my career I actively sought out opportunities to live and work around the globe. I interned at Google's office in Seoul and spent my first year at Palantir in its Singapore office. I now live with my wife and our cat in Boston, MA.

Good software serves as a foundation for us to do bigger and better things. I take great pride in building that foundation through designing intuitive APIs and implementing backends that "just work". I'm happiest when I see my robust designs and implementations elevate the productivity of others.

Outside of work, the gym is my happy place. I usually do a combination of weights and cardio 6 days a week, always in the morning. After work I like to take my rucksack out for a hike to get some sunlight. And if time allows, I play PC games in the evening. As I'm writing this in June 2025, I'm making my way through The Last of Us Part II.
